To Become a Member
An individual must be sponsored by a member and must have attended 2 PVA meetings, submitted a membership application form, paid the initiation fee and the 1st year's dues. Members shall receive the monthly newsletter via email, a membership directory, be listed on the PVA-CT website and will receive a name badge. They may also vote on certain items, serve on committees and participate in the Mentor and SIG programs. Members are not entitled to hold office, or use the PVA logo for advertising. Meeting Fees
Join Us For Networking Time/Dinner/Meeting 6:30 PM: If you plan to join us for networking time, buffet dinner, and our meeting, the buffet dinner fee will be $25. This is payable at the door with advance reservations. Reservations must be called in by the Thursday proceeding the meeting. Our meetings are always held the third Tuesday of the month, except August, and December.
Without advance reservations, the dinner fee will be $30.00.
Please note, if you do make a dinner reservation and do not let us know that you will not attend, PVA must bill you for dinner. This is due to the fact PVA must pay the hotel for the called in meal count, we hope you understand
Join Us For Our Meeting Portion Beginning At 8 PM: If you cannot come to our networking time, and dinner you are welcome to attend the meeting portion only. Your first two visits to the meeting portion are complimentary.

As A New Attendee: You may enjoy 2 complimentary meetings. Plus you will receive 2 issues of our monthly newsletter via email. If attending the dinner portion of our meeting there is a dinner fee.
Membership: To become a PVA Member, you must be sponsored by one of our Members. At your 3rd meeting, you may apply for Membership. Dues are payable with your application. Yearly dues are $95.00. There is also a one time $25.00 per person application fee, $15.00 for students.
The first year's dues are pro-rated at $7.92 per month from the date of application to April 30th. After the first year, dues are to be paid annually by May 1st for all members.
The dues for spouses, or added employees are $65.00 per year per person, or pro-rated at $5.42 per month from the date of application to April 30th. The dues for students are $25.00 per year, pro-rated at $2.08. Once you become a member you may attend the networking, dinner, meeting for the dinner fee, or you may attend the meeting portion only for a $10 room fee.

Certified Members: What is a Certified Member?
A PVA Certified Member is someone who has met all of these criteria: Has been a member of PVA for 6 months Has attended 6 PVA meetings Has been a professional videographer for 2 years Has submitted a client representative video no more than 6 months old to the Certification Committee for review. Has passed PVA review standards.
A Certified Videographer member shall receive a PVACT certificate
 
for display, may use the PVA logo for advertising, will be listed in the PVA Website as certified, and may hold office. To maintain this standing the Certified Member must maintain their membership in good standing and pay their annual dues on time.
